These hand-embroidered cushion covers celebrate the distinctive Lambadi embroidery tradition from the Sittilingi Valley in Tamil Nadu. Crafted entirely by hand, each piece features vibrant colors inspired by the surrounding landscape, giving every cushion an authentic, one-of-a-kind character. Their rich textures, cultural depth, and handmade charm make them a meaningful addition to home.

Behind these cushion covers is the Lambadi tribal community, whose embroidery practice is colorful, intricate, and deeply symbolic. Originating in northwestern India, the community established Sittilingi Valley as one of the key centers of this craft. The tradition was revived in 2006 by the Porgai Artisans Association, ensuring its continuity.

This embroidered cushion collection is thoughtfully created in close harmony with the local environment, honoring the region’s traditional knowledge and time-honored craftsmanship.
